Battery Centre N1 City (est. 2002) & Tableview (est. 2004) franchises are based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are geared to supply local (retail / trade) and international (trade) consumers with alternative energy and battery related products; their peripherals and associated services.

Battery Centre N1 City and Tableview is synonymous for outstanding service and best of bread products; we are part of the largest non-food franchise in South Africa that has over 110 outlets nation-wide.

At our stores we offer free battery testing, fitting and service which is fundamental to our delivery and have proved highly popular with motorists who have come to rely on our trusted brand.

Many of our starter and leisure batteries carry a nationwide guarantee giving our customers the surety of knowing that they can be serviced in most major South African centres and outlying areas.

Environmental control of scrap batteries is a top priority for Battery Centre which is why we have a strict battery recycling program for old automotive batteries.		Battery Centre N1 City & Tableview support disadvantaged communities with training/learnerships and other programmes thru BBN’s YES I CAN initiatives. This initiative has made an impressive impact on Elkanah & Sinenjongo High Schools.		Battery Centre N1 City & Tableview donates batteries to the Tsitsikamma Wolf Sanctuary.

Nearlly all exported locally manufactured South African motor vehicles are fitted with batteries made using Raylite technology. Our technology is used and trusted in the original equipment batteries (OEM) of the following motor vehicle manufacturers:
